I’m extremely disappointed with the experience we had at this wreckers shop. We contacted them the day before to confirm the availability of a Swift headlight, and they assured us it was there. Based on that confirmation, we drove all the way from Toowoomba — which is not a short trip, especially with fuel prices the way they are.
When we arrived, they casually told us the part had already been sold. No message, no call, no basic courtesy to let us know before we wasted our time and money travelling. What made it worse was their attitude. Instead of apologising or acknowledging the inconvenience they caused, they were rude and dismissive, as if it was somehow our fault for trusting the information they gave us.
This kind of unprofessional behaviour is unacceptable. If they can’t keep track of their stock or communicate properly with customers, they shouldn’t be confirming parts in the first place. A simple message would have saved us hours of travel and unnecessary expense. Definitely not a business I’d recommend to anyone looking for reliable service or basic customer respect.
